The Tennis Club Spring Social and Meeting Updates!  A great time was had by all at the April 6th Tennis Club dinner.  Burgers, beer, lots of laughs and best of all the meeting part was short! It left plenty of time for socializing and fun.  Check out the gallery for more photos!

In Case You Didn’t Know…

Once outside the cloister, tennis’ popularity spread across the country with the speed of Jannik Sinner’s backhand!  According to some sources, by the 13th Century, France had more than 1,800 tennis courts.  Most of the enthusiasts were from the upper classes.  In fact, the sport became such a craze that some leaders, including kings and the Pope, tried to discourage or ban the game as too distracting! Not to be torn from their beloved game of tennis, the people played on!

To our friends that are leaving for the summer, play on!
